Insulation Thickness: 17 mil (0.4 mm) *Difference between conductor and finished wire diameters; assumed to be the same as the corresponding MIL-W-81381/12

Wire Properties

Voltage Rating: 600

Temperature Rating: 200 C

Conductor Type: Nickel plated Copper

Construction Details: Two FEP coated PMDA-OD tapes (one 1 mil and the other 2 mil thick) wrapped in an overlapping manner and a modified PMDA-ODA top coat. The AWG 24 size wire uses Nickel plated high strength Copper alloy.

Additional Information: For AWG-8 and larger, there will be an Aramid braid over the finished wire without the PMDA-ODA top coat; this adds another 20 mil (0.5 mm) to the overall diameter of the finished wire. These large sizes also have a third PMDA-ODA tape layer.

The values for resistance are rated for ohms/1000ft at 20 Deg C.
The units of the diameters are in inches.
The values for weight are in lbs./1000ft.
